Leslie Simmons, president of Carroll Hospital, led its successful transition to a new reimbursement model and reduced unneeded readmissions. The hospital also launched a series of healthy living and community programs.
She previously held a variety of positions at Carroll Hospital, including chief nursing officer, senior vice president of patient care services and chief operating officer.
Active in a variety of state health organizations, Simmons also has been a board member of the Y in Central Maryland and Roland Park Place.
