Why Maryland?
Growing up in west Baltimore with my Mom and sisters taught me about the importance of God, family, education, honesty and hard work. Baltimore stimulated my love for reading at the Enoch Pratt Library, exploration into the arts through festivals, plays, and museums, and a genuine love for all people. After college, I returned home to Maryland to be close to my family and begin the rest of my life.
Through my career, marriage, and kids, Maryland has been a place where I have been able to succeed against the odds. Working in a male-dominated energy industry in Maryland forced me to grow and develop skills to be successful in establishing and maintaining good relationships. I believe that Maryland has excellent schools, universities, places to raise a family, to work, and most importantly the best people. I am so proud to be a lifelong Marylander.
