As president and managing principal at Brown Plus, Ken Wolfe, CPA, CGMA, leads the Maryland and Pennsylvania firm in its mission to help people achieve extraordinary outcomes, directing its culture, vision and growth strategy while managing professional services and internal operations. Wolfe’s attraction to the profession began with what he describes as the orderliness of accounting, where everything must balance. Public accounting, he found, offered something more: no two days alike and the chance to learn something new each day while serving clients across a wide range of industries. Alongside his leadership responsibilities, he provides audit, tax and advisory services with specializations in construction, real estate, manufacturing and other for‑profit sectors. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Associated Builders and Contractors Keystone Chapter and the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County. He also helped establish the Brown Plus Charitable Fund.

Wolfe earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Grace College in Winona Lake. He has appeared on Forbes’ Best‑In‑State CPAs List in 2025 and Accounting Today’s Managing Partner Elite award in 2022.

Wolfe credits his family and his faith as the forces that inspire him to give his best each day, describing them as foundational influences that have shaped his core values, identity and perspective. Both, he notes, offer unconditional love and a deep sense of belonging, providing the security to pursue his passions and the support to recover from challenges.
