Peter Angelos Law

Will Minkin is a partner at the Law Offices of Peter G. Angelos, where he has represented injured individuals for nearly 30 years.

Minkin joined the firm in 1995, beginning his career representing victims of a for-profit chain of psychiatric hospitals before spending several years litigating claims against the tobacco industry. As part of the team that represented the State of Maryland, he helped secure more than $4 billion for the state.

For the past 25 years, his practice has centered on representing individuals harmed by asbestos exposure. Alongside his colleagues at Peter Angelos Law, he has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for asbestos clients, securing multiple jury verdicts exceeding $15 million, numerous seven-figure verdicts and countless multi-million-dollar pre-verdict settlements. He has successfully argued cases before the Supreme Court of Maryland and the Appellate Court of Maryland and, more recently, has been part of a team representing military veterans injured by defective 3M Combat Arms earplugs, as well as veterans and family members exposed to toxic chemicals at Camp Lejeune. Martindale has awarded Minkin its AV Preeminent peer rating, the organization’s highest designation for attorneys recognized by their peers for legal expertise, communication skills and ethical standards.

“My father, Tom Minkin, practiced law with Mr. Angelos for over 60 years,” he said. “He set the example for me of the importance of our firm’s work in this community and I am honored to follow in his footsteps.” Tom Minkin was the recipient of The Daily Record’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

Minkin is actively involved in his community. He serves as chair of the board of the Macks Jewish Connection Network and as a member of the board of directors of the Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore. He is a past chair of the board of the Jewish Community Centers of Baltimore, past chair of the Maryland Food Bank Lawyers’ Campaign Against Hunger and a past board member of Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, and has won several awards and recognition for his service to the community.

When his son recently revived the mock trial team at his school, Minkin offered guidance as the team prepared its cases. He said he enjoyed seeing their enthusiasm for the law and the hard work and effort they put into their preparation.
