Jonathan Yoffe has concentrated his practice in personal injury and workers’ compensation at Stavisky, Yoffe & Castro, P.A., representing individuals and families who have suffered life-altering harm. His caseload spans trucking accidents, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, explosions, workplace shootings and complex insurance coverage disputes, and his work has yielded seven- and eight-figure results for his clients.

His firm places a special focus on public safety, advocating for police officers, correctional officers and firefighters in complex workers’ compensation matters. Yoffe serves on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Association for Justice, where he works to advance the rights of injury victims and promote the integrity of the civil justice system. He has also been active in efforts to improve access to justice and expand the rights of Marylanders through legislative advocacy.

Among his recognitions, Yoffe was named to the 2025 Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Law Power List by The Daily Record. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a Super Lawyer from 2020 to 2026. He holds memberships in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums and the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys Top 10 Under 40.

As his career has progressed, Yoffe has taken on increasingly complex and higher-stakes cases. “I want to continue on this path of handling more complex and catastrophic cases, as I find they give me so much purpose,” he said. He has also set his sights on taking on additional leadership positions within the Maryland Association for Justice and continuing his involvement in lobbying efforts on behalf of injured Marylanders.

A lifelong Maryland resident, Yoffe was born and raised in Baltimore County. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland at College Park before going on to earn a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He began college as a pre-med student before changing course, drawn to law because he was a good writer and loved a good argument — a path that nonetheless brought him to the medical-adjacent fields of personal injury and workers’ compensation.

Outside his practice, Yoffe does membership outreach at law schools on behalf of the Maryland Association for Justice. He has expressed a goal of mentoring more young lawyers and expanding his involvement in educational programming within the profession.
