Aprio acquires MD-based government contracting firm

Founded in 2005, CAVU Advisors partners with nationwide with “specialized command” of Unanet, Deltek – two software companies in Northern .

Aprio, headquartered in Atlanta, has an office in . The acquisition reflects Aprio’s efforts in scaling the talent, technology and specialized capabilities that federal contractors need to be effective, the firm said in a release. 

As part of the business deal, CAVU Advisors President Nicole Trimble and chief sales officer Mike Kalnasy will join Aprio as partners, according to a release.

Aprio specializes in accounting, tax, cybersecurity, transaction advisory, wealth and legal services, with nearly 400 partners and professionals in , D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
