Dr.  Falecia D. Williams serves as president of Prince George’s Community College, where she leads with intentionality and a commitment to servant leadership. Williams believes education is a transformative force for both individuals and communities, a philosophy that shapes her approach to institutional excellence and regional impact.

At PGCC, Williams fosters a culture where employees feel empowered, valued and connected to the college’s mission. She champions initiatives including the Newly Hired Full-Time Faculty Program, Employee Wellness Programs and cross-divisional professional development. Through open communication, recognition and visible leadership, Williams creates conditions where staff can thrive, innovate and deliver their best work, collectively elevating student success and driving organizational excellence.

Under her leadership, PGCC addresses Maryland’s high housing costs and limited labor pool, which pose significant barriers for first-generation students and working adults pursuing higher education. Williams counters these challenges through affordable tuition, stackable credentials and high-impact programs in nursing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and STEM.

Williams extends her impact beyond PGCC through extensive community engagement. She serves with the Aspen Presidential Fellowship at the Aspen Institute’s College Excellence Program, the Women’s Network Executive Council of the American Council on Education and the Economic Club of Washington. Her service includes the Luminis/Doctors Community Hospital Advisory Board, Maryland Council of Community College Presidents, Employ Prince George’s, Prince George’s Business Roundtable, Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce, Washington National Opera Diversity Ambassadors and the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area.
