Miles & Stockbridge opens new Montgomery County office

Miles & Stockbridge opened its new Montgomery County office. The firm relocated its office from Rockville to the Pike & Rose neighborhood in North Bethesda.
The move was announced in April as part of the firm’s efforts to continue its growth and strengthen its presence for clients, colleagues and recruitment efforts.
The new office has nearly 7,000 square feet on the 11th floor at 915 Meeting Street. It comes at a time of substantial growth in the region and along the East Coast.
In December 2024, the firm completed a merger with D.C. real estate finance firm Krooth & Altman. In May 2024, it opened a Midtown Manhattan office and in 2023 expanded into Richmond, Virginia.
“With our recent merger, approximately half of the firm’s lawyers now work in the D.C. Metro area,” said Nancy Greene, chairman, president and CEO. “We have worked across the region for decades — first opening a Rockville office in 1982, a Tysons office in 1995 and a Washington office in 2010 to be near our clients and to support their interests — and that commitment remains as strong as ever as we focus on growing here even more. Opening a North Bethesda office is a great extension of our presence and commitment to clients across the DMV.”
Miles & Stockbridge has about 110 lawyers and 170 employees in the Greater Washington offices, according to the release. The firm also works extensively with Montgomery County and the municipalities of Rockville and Gaithersburg.
