“Globally, only 12% of portfolio managers are women. I am proud to be part of this group, as a multi-asset portfolio manager at T. Rowe Price, managing over $5 billion for financial advisors and their clients to help them achieve their financial goals,” Garrett said.
At T. Rowe Price, Garrett leads mentor circles as a “Super Mentor” and facilitates conversations within Multi-Asset Women Investors. She demystifies investing concepts through the “Launching Your Legacy” program and Asset Management 101 presentations targeting diverse high school and college students. Her commitment to inspiring change stems from her long-held belief in empowering diverse talent, dating back to a 2006 job interview where she articulated her desire to provide accessible wealth-building and address the industry’s lack of senior women.
In 2014, as board president of the SEI Women’s Network, Garrett created the SEI Women’s Network Leadership Summit, now in its 11th year. The conference has connected women, fostered mentorship relationships and driven positive change extending beyond SEI to impact suppliers, clients and the community.
Garrett currently serves as an executive committee member for the CAIA Association Washington D.C. Chapter and an advisory board member for the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Villanova University since 2018. She chairs committees for the Junior League of Baltimore and previously co-led the Young Adults Group at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
“My community involvement extends beyond fundraising to planning educational and networking programs for CAIA members, leading membership development for the Junior League of Baltimore and chairing the JLB Young Women’s Leadership scholarship initiatives, showcasing a unique commitment to inspiring tangible change and developing future leaders,” Garrett said.
Recent honors include Super Mentor recognition from T. Rowe Price in 2025, Bond Manager of the Year Shortlist from Women in Asset Management Awards in 2019 and Next Generation Leader Finalist from United Way in 2016.
