Promoting flexibility within the firm, Greene credits her success to her family. “Having a supportive family allowed me to focus on whatever was in front of me without being weighed down by worries,” she said, noting she also tries to instill happiness into her daily life.
Greene is no stranger to overcoming personal and professional adversity. “I lost my mother in 1995, my father in 2021 and my first husband in 2005, all to unexpected medical illnesses,” she shared. “These experiences taught me that fear and grief must coexist with hopefulness about the future. Finding strength on the hard days helped me learn not to let small things overwhelm me.”
She is most proud of the firm’s resilience during the pandemic and its continued focus on operational excellence, growth and innovative client service. She also lauds the firm’s pro bono work, which includes matters on international child abduction, domestic violence, veterans and the LGBTQ+ community.
Greene has earned several accolades, including being named to Baltimore Business Journal’s Enterprising Women of Excellence award in 2021 and to The Daily Record’s Power 100 list for the past three years. Greene also serves on the board of governors for The Center Club and advisory councils for Truist and M&T Bank.
