Skyreach Equipment adds Severn property for $3.5M

Skyreach Equipment, a Glen Burnie company that supplies a fleet of aerial lifts, rough terrain forklifts and mini cranes to various industries throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, the District of Columbia and Virginia, has acquired 762 Queenstown Road in Severn for $3.5 million, the company announced Tuesday.

The nearly three-acre property contains two free-standing buildings comprising nearly 8,000 square feet of space, an on-site fueling station, and a fenced-in outdoor storage facility.

Andrew Meeder, SIOR; Dan Hudak, SIOR and Matthew Curran, SIOR, senior vice presidents and principals for MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services LLC represented the unnamed private company in this sales transaction.

Skyreach Equipment offers an array of equipment including atrium crawlers, boom lifts, glass manipulators and handlers, mini cranes, rotating telehandlers and warehouse forklifts. The family-owned and operated company sells both new and previously used equipment for applications that include construction, maintenance, warehouse logistics, cleaning, painting and the installation of signage and lighting.

The property at 762 Queenstown Road contains an approximately 8,000 square foot single-story building containing office and warehouse/industrial space and a lighted and fenced-in industrial outdoor storage area suitable for the storage of equipment and products. Fronting Queenstown Road, the asset is less than five miles from Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Interstates 695 and 97 and MD Route 295 and approximately eight miles from Interstate 95.

Skyreach Equipment intends to utilize the property for the expansion of its operations throughout the central Maryland and northern Virginia areas.
