Barry F. Rosen
CEO & Chairman
Gordon Feinblatt
As an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University, Barry F. Rosen met Eugene Feinblatt, who was taking a sabbatical from his law firm, Gordon Feinblatt, to teach a course on urban policy.
“Quite simply, Gene was the smartest person I had ever met and if that was what being a lawyer was, I wanted in,” Rosen said.
After graduating from Harvard Law School, Rosen began practicing with Feinblatt. His legal practice focuses on health care, antitrust counseling and litigation, trademark licensing, franchising, computer hardware and software acquisition and governmental financing. Serving as chairman and CEO for more than three decades, Rosen also heads the firm’s health care practice group.
Away from the office, he is the chair of the board of directors for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He’s also served on several statewide health commissions and boards for The Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland and for both Sinai Hospital and LifeBridge Health.
What’s been your biggest success?
Successes are inherently different. In fact, as a lawyer, every client is as important as every other client, and each success is as important as every other success. I understand my clients’ industries, know the applicable law, and endeavor to be a strong and respectful draftsman, advocate and negotiator, traits which result in many successes for my clients. Their success is my success.
