Patrice Kingsley, Manager of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield’s CareFirst Engagement Center. She was the mastermind behind the implementation of the health care giant’s first retail and engagement center. With a budget of over $1.2 million, Kingsley’s leadership facilitated over 200 engagements in its first three weeks of operation. Kingsley has been with CareFirst for over eight years, serving in various roles, including strategic business consultant and advisor for community health and social impact. She received her Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Policy in International Development from the University of Maryland.
How would you say you inspired change in your organization or the community as an up-and-coming leader?
My colleagues have noted that I stand out from my peers by my ability to fearlessly jump into any situation to facilitate collaboration, ask critical questions, and deliver results. I have worked to connect the dots and drive our company to be more present in communities. We are showing up with authenticity and professionalism to build trust, create opportunities and to improve the health and well-being of communities across the Mid-Atlantic.
