There are as many as five generations in the workplace currently. All are very different in needs and the way they communicate. How do you lead through collaboration with all generations and the strengths you find in each one? In particular in the new workplace normal we are working through now how are the generations coming together differently to succeed as a team?

My work team has, for the past 15 years, been enriched by women of different generations. They have brought wisdom, experience, curiosity, energy and each brought her own unique perspective to our work. Those who have been with us for more than 10 years bring patience and a desire to share what they have learned with our younger colleagues; those who may be coming to us in the first years of work have so much to offer and have certainly taught the rest of us more about technology than we thought possible. Some of us have children as old as some of our teammates, and others are just beginning their families, but we have offered one another respect, and are grateful for what each of us brings to this work.
