Centrus Energy, which supplies enriched uranium fuel for nuclear power plants, has new office space but won’t be moving too far.

Centrus, which was represented by Cresa Washington DC in the transaction, renegotiated its lease with landlord PR-1 Democracy Center LLC, to relocate from 6903 Rockledge Drive to 6901 Rocklidge Drive in North Bethesda. The firm will be leasing 23,888 square feet of space in the 680,000-square-foot office park.

“This transaction has allowed our client to right-size its space in advance of its expiration date,” Cresa DC Managing Principal Rich Rhodes said in a news release. “Given Centrus’ comfort level in the park, the amenity base, the easy access to route I-270, and the favorable terms, this was an ideal outcome for them.”

Cresa touted the project’s amenities such as state-of-the-art fitness center and on-site food service.
