Busch mentions Internet gambling consideration

ANNAPOLIS — Speaker Michael Busch says the possibility of developing Internet in the state will be under consideration in a next week.

The speaker briefly noted the possibility in a memo sent to members of the House of Delegates on Wednesday evening.

Busch, D-Anne Arundel, noted that an important component of the special session will be to ensure Maryland has a sustainable gambling program that is competitive with surrounding mid-Atlantic states.
