Panel to consider Rocky Gap slots license

ANNAPOLIS — A Maryland commission is scheduled to consider granting a slot machines license for a casino at Rocky Gap State Park.
The state’s Video Lottery Facility Location Commission is set to consider the proposal on Thursday in Annapolis.
Evitts Resort LLC is proposing a casino with 850 slot machines.
So far, Maryland has opened two casinos, one in Perryville and another near Ocean City. A third is scheduled to open this summer in Anne Arundel County.
Caesars Entertainment is hoping to win a state license to operate a casino in Baltimore.
