Health Care for the Homeless names new CEO

Kevin Lindamood, the current for external affairs of , has been named by the organization’s board of directors as the next chief executive officer.

Lindamood succeeds Jeff Singer as the fourth CEO of the 26-year-old service and advocacy organization. He will assume his new responsibilities effective Oct. 16. Lindamood joined HCH in 1993 as a volunteer outreach worker, and has worked for the organization continuously, except for time off to earn a master’s degree in social work from the .

He is active in various nonprofit organizations that deal with health care and homelessness, and will graduate next month with the 2011 class of the Greater Baltimore Committee LEADERship.
